Blue crabs are a really neat species in the Cheasapeake Bay. They live in shallow waters and in seagrasses, yet they they move to deeper parts of the water during the winter. Blue crabs eat clams, oysters, mussels, freshly dead fish, as well as plant & animal detritus. Some things that eat Blue crabs are Stripped bass, Atlantic croakers, Red drums, Blue Herons, and sometimes turtles.
