I use an app called Beeminder to provide me with an extra incentive to stay on track with my habits.
Beeminder leverages loss aversion against the forces that drive me to abandon my habits. I heard about Beeminder a few times over the years, but it was this post by Andy Matuschak that encouraged me to give it a go.
